Agentforce + Flow | Create a Resource Plan

Resource managers can use a staffer agent to generate a resources plan. Bonus Variation: This kind of request typically comes through email... so using the same agent, we also show how to launch a flow and enter the "unstructured data" (e.g. the email text) to achieve the same result. Tons of good use cases don’t require data to be nice and neat to get started using Agentforce.
How It Works

In this use case video, we show you a very simple yet powerful use of deterministic AI.

✨ First part: A user needs a resource, and using a Staffer Helper agent, it creates a Resource Plan.

✨ Second part: Same agent, but this time the same user sends an email with the resourcing need. Based on the email, we use the structured output feature that was released in Winter ‘26 to create a Resource Plan.

Is the data in this org clean?  Nope. This was done in a very plain sandbox.

Did Agentforce work? Absolutely! It did exactly what we wanted!

Tons of good use cases don’t require your data to be nice and neat to get you started. These are more rule-based, and you might hear them as “deterministic” AI.

Why This Matters

You can start your Salesforce Agentforce adoption even if your data is not perfect.

✅  You still should up your clean data. With or without AI.
❎  But, that’s not enough excuse to wait to use Agentforce.  Just be smarter about the use cases that you choose.

Note: If you want to do anything with pattern recognition, or even something that involves statistics, then yes, you need your data in order. This is what we refer to as “probabilistic” AI.
