Agentforce | Use Agents Directly in Slack

This agentforce AI use case shows how to use an agent (the Staffer Agent to create Resource Plans) directly in Slack. Same agent, same logic, same everything we showed you in Salesforce... but you never have to leave Slack. If your team works in Slack, its easy to give them access to AI where they are. (Check out our time entry from Slack use case also!)
How it Works

In another use case, we showed an Agentforce Staffer Agent could be called right from the standard Agent Chat interface, and then again from a Screen Flow using the new-ish structured output (Winter ‘26).

Here in this use case– we’re using that same exact agent but this time from Slack.  Same agent, same logic, same everything…. but from Slack.

Now, watch the video and see it work 👉

Youtube video coming soon. For now, view this use case in action on Linkedin.

Why This Matters

This isn’t about choosing the “correct” way to use an agent. It’s about choosing the way that actually fits your organization. The real win is not in the technology, but in tailoring the experience to your people and you processes.

  • If your team is working on Slack, give them the agent in Slack.
  • If your company loves emails for communications, give them a structured output.
  • If everybody is on Salesforce all day long, let them interact with the agent in Salesforce.

That’s where adoption happens, success stories start, and efficiency happens.

If you’re exploring AI and Agentforce and wondering what your implementation should look like, let’s talk. Not about what’s “the right way” but about what’s right for you and your business.

Who It's For

Anyone who wants to interact with their agents directly from Slack. In this case, CC shows you how to use the staffer agent to create resource plans without ever leaving slack.
