Skills Assessment Simplified with Agentforce

Updating skills can be a burden, however accurate resource skill matrices are critical for forecasting demand and staffing projects. With Agentforce and Flow, we've simplified this process by using Agentforce to suggest skill recommendations for new or improved skills for each resource using the timecard notes and the skill rating definitions.
How It Works

By combining Agentforce and Flow – a PM can walk through skill recommendations that Agentforce suggests leveraging the timecard notes and the skill rating definitions.

This use case showcases how to simplify regular Skills Assessment by embedding it into Project Close out function. Its easy to quickly assess: Did your resources gain new skills in the latest project implementation or improve their skills? But of course this use case relies on good data configured and captured in Salesforce

Two big takeaways to highlight from this really cool use case:

1)  LLMs are not crystal balls
If your timecards are garbage, your outcomes will be too. This only works with good data. This applies to your skills inventory as well.

2) You’re paying the data-quality tax one way or the other.
Either enter quality timecards once and automate staffing, planning, skills, and career insights, or keep fighting your downstream processes! Your choice

Note: This use case doesn’t data cloud, but we’d definitely recommend using data cloud if its in your stack.
